Physical Properties:
The nature of fine iodine brittle , steam purple . Special stimulus smelly . Melting point 113.5 ℃, boiling point of 184.35 ℃, relative density of 4.93 (20/4 ℃), slightly soluble in water , the solubility increased with increasing temperature ; insoluble in sulfuric acid ; soluble in organic solvents ; iodine chloride soluble in bromide; more soluble iodide solution; soluble sulfur, selenium,ammonium and alkali metal iodides , aluminum ,tin , titanium and other metal iodides .
