DURAN d.d. is manufacturer and supplier of custom-made technical glass products.The company melts the borosilicate 3.3. glass and produces laboratory and industrial glass assortments(applications of DURAN borosilicate glass 3.3.).The production of glass and final processing operations are done manually.Production types are: hand blown and hand pressed; the company is specialized for the small and middle sized series of big volume glass vessels.The glass type meets the highest quality and resistance to alcali and acid demands and is, therefore, sorted into the 1st hydrolitic group.The blown production: the company produces articles with weight from 30 g - 13500 g. And the volumes from 100ml - 50(70)L. The precision of work and the quality of the assortment is ensured also through an eaven wall thickness.The pressed production: articles from 25 g - 4600 g and diameters from: 35 - 450 mm.The final processing operations include: drilling, grinding, cutting, rotational neck forming, thread/tube welding, printing, enameling, sandblasting, scaling etc.The production assortment includes: flasks, laboratory bottles, beakers, milk jars for milking machines, hot water boilers, aircraft glass, illuminating bulks, protective glass, insulators, washing machine windows.
