♦ INTRODUCTION
We are a Korean supplier specialized in mekabu, other seaweeds and sea vegetables. Mekabu seaweed is the ruffled sprout part above the root of wakame, and it is famous for its high content in fucoidan that is good for human immune system and digestive health. Our frozen mekabu is made using the top quality fresh mekabu, grown off the coast of Wando and Kangjin, the biggest seaweed cultivation area in Korea. Our mekabu is processed with great care to preserve its natural nutrients, taste and flavor under strict sanitary standards.
♦ PRODUCTION DETAILS
Our mekabu is hand-harvested and carefully selected during winter and spring. Fresh mekabu is washed with clean seawater and rinsed with running water again. Visual inspection is conducted by experienced employees to eliminate foreign matter, and properly packed. To improve freezing efficiency, we use a particular carton with punching hole. Mekabu turns rancid easily in a hot weather, so it should be processed and frozen instantly. Our processing line is optimized to keep natural mekabu fresh.

- Wakame stem is removed
- No artificial additives, preservatives or colorants.
- Quick frozen at minus 45°c for 48hours at least to preserve fuciudan effectively.

Use it in soups, salads, garnish for rice and noodle, pickled, stir-fry combinations, or inside of sushi rolls as desired.
