working principium & requirementThis is a very basic 'dry' nitrous oxide injection kit we fit to minimoto's (pocket bikes). The initial concept was developed in the US a few years ago & utilizes some basic components you may be able to find in China.Ultraflate (from company Innovations) CO2 (Carbon dioxide) Tyre Inflator designed for very fast mountain bike/motorbike tyre inflation after a puncture repair or inner tube change.This is modified slightly using a spacer machined from Aluminium in order that small (8 gram) Nitrous Oxide bottles can be fitted. These bottles of Nitrous Oxide or N2O are designed for use in producing whipped cream at home or in catering applications. The nitrous oxide is very dense & produces excellent whipped cream! However, if injected into the intake of a small capacity engine it also produces a sudden increase in performance by releasing additional oxygen for the combustion process.So, the bottle is fitted inside the modified tyre inflator, the top is screwed down which pierces the top of the bottle, when the rider wants the performance increase, he/she pulls the trigger amp, releases the gas. The gas is delivered to the intake of the engine by use of push-fit (or 'touch') connectors, which are designed for 4 mm Nylon high-pressure pipe and are primarily used in Pneumatics.
