Chamomile Tea

Chamomile Tea; its name in folk language is Babunc. It grows in temperate climatic regions in the world and is one of the most frequent herbs seen in our country. In appearance it is 10-50 cm long, has many branches, the leaves are segmented and glabrous. Its flowers are in the form of small heads. It is a herbal plant which bloomes yellow-white flowers and grows in green pasture and has a nice odour.

Chamomile was planted on the ground floor of the houses in middle Ages in order to clean the air. It was accepted as curative against all kinds of diseases in Ancient Egypt and was allotted for the God Ra. Another positive effect of the Chamomile, which has been used for treating ulcer since the ancient times, is that it makes the poison of the bacteria ineffective. Furthermore, it has appetizing effect, helps digestion, and ceases rheumatic paints.
