In the candle shown If you watch carefully you will observe three lines that are depicting a figure in a sitting position.This is titled as "waiting".The famous thinker Foucault gave the idea of "panopticon"- a pillar from where a prison guard can see all the prisoners whether they are working or not.Eventually if the guard is taken away(by the jail authority) the prisoners accustomed with the idea that "somebody" is watching them will never look up & wait for their destiny without questioning the authority.The same idea has influenced this work.Some of the ordinary buyers also think that this represents an old man who is waiting for death.As you know in post modernism there is no absolute truth & same object/idea communicates with different people at different levels.
